Loren R.
“Larry” Massie Jr. of rural Seneca passed away unexpectedly
Wednesday,
November 28, 2018
at the age of 69. He was born
April 20, 1949
in
Kenosha,
WI
the son of Loren and Elizabeth (Keisler) Massie. Loren had an
inquisitive and creative mind with the ability to build and/or fix
almost anything. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and reading.
He also loved to fish and hunt. Loren built his own home and loved
to work on projects. He went to college for Aerospace Engineering
and later started a landscape and design building firm in
Denver,
CO.
He is survived
by his son, Nicholas Massie, of
Perth,
Australia
and his brother Michael (Susan) Massie of North Oaks, MN. He was
preceded in death by his parents Loren and Betty Massie and his sisters
Molly and Kathy.
Funeral services will be
Thursday, December 6, 2018
at
2:00 p.m.
at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI, with
Pastor Kyle Svennungsen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Thursday from
1:00 p.m.
until the time of services. A private family interment will be
later.
