Dennis Frank DeBartelo
1949 - 2011

Found peace August 15, 2011, at the age of 62. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Verta (nee Campbell). Dear father of Nicholas DeBartelo. Loving brother of Diane (Ronald) Moe. Also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dennis was a 1967 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Kenosha and graduated from Gateway Technical College. He was employed at GE Health Care for 30 years. He enjoyed golf and was a longtime fan of the Braves, both in Milwaukee and Atlanta; and being a part of all of his son's sports endeavors.

Michael Flatley, Julie Vernezze, Dennis Halverson and John Celebre were winners in the Dennis DeBartelo Memorial Golf Scramble on Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Muni. The team won with the low score of 29. Vernezze rallied the team with an 18-foot putt. The outing brought together friends of Dennis DeBartelo, who passed after a courageous battle against cancer. The golfers were joined by 20 others at Villa D'Carlo for cocktails and dinner after the outing. Money raised from the event is being donated to the St. Joseph High School Hall of Fame Committee.
