  40 Years Later

After quite a few years in college, Wisconsin, Massachusetts and North Carolina and armed with three degrees, I took a pharmacy school faculty position at the University of Minnesota. In 1985, I moved to Yardley, PA to take a job at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton, NJ. Yardley, a small town on the Delaware River across from Trenton, NJ is a short commute to my office.

My parents, Mike and Eileen are still in Kenosha. They have been married 60 years. Dad sold Gallo Pharmacy and then retired from Aurora. My brothers are: Jim, teaching and cancer research at Temple University, and Mike, a pharmacist at Walgreens in Kenosha.

My children are: Rachel, graduated (Public Health) Temple University, May 2007, Leah starting Hallmark School of Photography in Massachusetts, September 2007, Dan, high school student.

My most recent exciting trip was to East Africa for a 10 day safari in November 2005 with my son Dan. Lot’s of other travel, business related, has taken me to Europe, Latin America, South Africa and Asia.

I married Kay in 1975. She passed away tragically in 1979. I remarried Roberta, who is the mother of our 3 kids. She also lives in Yardley, PA, but we have been divorced since 2000. I am now happily engaged to Peggy with our wedding plans underway for June 2008.

Life is a long and winding road, indeed.

I will be attending the Friday June 22 warm-up.  The rest of my weekend is booked with a Family Reunion (how ironic).

All the best.
