Memorial Tribute

Dear Class
of 1967 Classmates:
In July of 2017, we celebrated our 50-year
reunion. We're sure that everyone who attended had a very
nice time. Look at the photos Tom Hansen posted! (No
sad faces there) People talked about old times, current
events, families, siblings, children and grandchildren. We
ate, drank and danced. Three days of good times.
We had funds left over due in large
part to the generosity of John and Julie Capelli hosting the
Sunday picnic. Since we're not planning another organized
reunion in the foreseeable future, we decided to close out our
account and disburse any remaining money.
First, we gave Tom Hansen a small
token of our appreciation for all his time, work and expense
over many years now in maintaining and updating our website.
Second, we also bought a memorial
brick to be placd in Wolfenbuttel Park. An installation
ceremoney will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 21,
2018. The brick will say: |
|
|
St. Joseph
H.S.
Class of 1967 |
|
|
Third, we purchased a memorial brick at St. Joseph's. It
will be placed at a time yet to be determined. It will be
placed around the flag near the front entrance. It will
say: |
|
|
St. Joe's
H.S.
Class of 1967
Went forth to lead
The land We love
|
|
|
Fourth, we made a donation to the St. Joseph Scholarship Fund.
Finally, if you are planning on
getting together with any of your former classmates in Kenosha,
or just want to run in to others from St. Joe's, consider doing
it on the third weekend of July 2018. Just attend the
church festival that takes place that weekend.
Best wishes to ALL,
The Reunion Committee |
